Pick Release with Auto Allocate = Yes
Source Subventory = blank
Staging Subventory = Staging 1
No serial number required.
1. Run Pick Release.
2. Pick Slip is generated at Pick Release
3. Subinventory placed on PS is found by allocating inventory based on Subinventory picking order and quantity On-hand.
4. Move Order is complete, no updating capability.
5. Ship Confirm
Scenario 2:
Pick Release with Auto Allocate = Yes
Source Subventory = Stores (quantity On-hand)
Staging Subventory = Staging 1
No serial number required.
1. Run Pick Release.
2. Pick Slip is generated at Pick Release
3. Subinventory placed on PS is found by allocating inventory based on Source Subinventory found.
4. Move Order is complete, no updating capability.
5. Ship Confirm
Scenario 3:
Pick Release with Auto Allocate = Yes
Source Subventory = RIP (no quantity On-hand)
Staging Subventory = Staging 1
No serial number required.
1. Run Pick Release.
2. Pick Slip is not generated at Pick Release.
3. Move Order is created but was not allocated because of no On-hand quantity
4. Update Move Order and allocated manually.
5. Transact Move Order
6. Ship Confirm
Scenario 4:
· Pick Release with Auto Allocate = Yes
· Source Subventory = blank
· Staging Subventory = Staging 1
· Item requires serial number
· Serial number are not pre-assign on the Sales Order.
1. Run Pick Release.
2. Pick Slip is not generated at Pick Release
3. Move Order was created and items allocated based on Subinventory picking order and quantity On-hand.
4. Can not print Pick Slip manually until serial number are assign
5. Assign serial numbers on Move Order
6. Print Pick Slip
7. Ship Confirm
Scenario 5:
· Pick Release with Auto Allocate = No
· Source Subventory = blank
· Staging Subventory = Staging 1
· Item requires serial number
· Serial number are not pre-assign on the Sales Order.
1. Run Pick Release.
2. Pick Slip is not generated at Pick Release
3. Move Order was created with no allocation
4. Allocated Move Order on the Transact Move Order window.
5. Print Pick Slip from Move Order after Allocation and Saving. Note: I tried using the Print Pick Slip under tools on the Transact Move Order window but got a Pick Slip with “No Data Found”. But I went under Order Management and ran the Pick Slip Document and data was there. I suspect that is a bug.
6. Picker returns Pick Slip with serial number recorded and Subinventory/Locator information
7. Assign serial numbers on Move Order and update any Subinventory/Locator information
8. Ship Confirm
