- Navigate to the Customers Standard window
- NOTE: The default ‘Status’ is ‘Active.’ If you are not sure whether the customer is active, change the status field to ‘All’
- Type in your customer name or number
- Click ‘Find’
- In the ‘Match Results’ window, click ‘OK’ to open the customer record
- Click into the flexfield – []
- If the account has been inactivated, the ‘Comments for inactivation’ field will have been populated with the reason for inactivation and the new customer number to use
